Hospitality is a core value at Redeemer Rockwall. Jesus' ideas about what hospitality is supposed to look like were so radical and offensive to the people of his day! He spent his time with the poor, lepers, tax collectors, prostitutes. It was unthinkable! Who is God calling us to be hospitable to?

God calls his people to go. In Acts 10 we see how missions isn’t just about changing the lives of others, it’s also a means by which Jesus changes us. In missions we are joining Christ in the work he is doing in the world for the life of the world.

God’s primary vehicle for discipleship begins in the home inside the family. From the beginning God has promised to work through his family to bless all the families of the earth.

The Christian life is lived in community. When we consider the early Church in the book of Acts, their faith was lived out with one another in a way that bore witness to the gospel to the surrounding world.

Spiritual Formation is a core value because we are called to become more like Jesus. In this sermon we look at Mary and Martha and how the active and contemplative life are both necessary in our pursuit of becoming like Jesus.

At Redeemer our mission is to live for the glory of Christ and the life of the world. But what exactly is the glory of Christ? As we kick off this sermon series we focus on how we want the significance of Christ to be the center of everything we do at Redeemer Rockwall.
