SPIRITUAL FORMATION PASTOR

Marq was born in Dallas and grew up in Mesquite, Texas where he met his wife Shannon. They have been married for 28 years and have four young adult children. Marq has over twenty five years of ministry experience. He has served as a minister in Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, and Texas and as a missionary in Oaxaca, Mexico. He is a graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute (1993) and Redeemer Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Religion, 2012).

Marq enjoys simple things like a peaceful and quiet afternoon, drinking coffee, reading books, listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with family and doing next to nothing.

Above all else, Marq wants his family and friends to love Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and enjoy face to face communion with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Little-known facts about Marq: Once upon a time he announced high school football games, he has gone noodling (twice), he came face to face with a mountain lion while hiking, and he was once detained by immigration law enforcement in Mexico.
