BE A MEMBER OF REDEEMER ROCKWALL

You are being sent by your church as a representative of Redeemer and this partnership is central to who we are as a church. If you haven’t yet become a member but intend to do so before the trip, please contact Pastor Zach.

BE A BAPTIZED CHRISTIAN

We require baptism for all team members because you must first receive the mission of Christ before you are sent on mission with Christ.

BE AT LEAST 14 YEARS OLD

If you are considering taking your youth, our age requirement is that they turn 14 the year of the trip.

BE ABLE TO ATTEND TEAM MEETINGS

Preparation before the trip is essential. There are a total of 5 meetings before the trip. Two meetings occur on a Friday evening. Three meetings occur on Sundays after church. The team meetings are mandatory but we understand if circumstances require you to miss one.

BE WILLING TO COVER THE COST OF THE TRIP

Redeemer will come alongside each team member to help raise support. You will have individual support raising assistance along with team-wide support raising events. If your support isn’t raised in full, you will be required to provide the remaining difference.

You are not required to raise support if you intend to cover the cost yourself. If you do pay for your trip cost, we ask that you consider raising the equivalent of your trip’s cost to fund a water well.

BE WILLING TO DO THE REQUIRED READING

There is required reading to help you prepare for your trip. It will reshape how you think of missions and how to be ready for what Jesus wants to do in you through this trip. Your missions handbook will have all the information for the trip and readings for each meeting.
